Waterfowl
Bird
hunt paradise
Migratory
fowl hunting in Alberta remains one of the most varied and plentiful hunts
available anywhere.
With
nearly 2000 acres of wetland and grain fields privately owned by Plihal Outfitting
and with access to over 20000 more acres of premium bird game territory situated
in the Lake Kimiwan, Frank Lake, Lac Magloire, Smoky River rectangle, we are
able to offer outstanding hunts that allow a hunter over 70 birds daily. This
daily bag limit would include geese, (Canada, White Fronted and Snow) ducks
(mallards, black ducks, teal, etc.,) grouse (spruce, sharp-tailed, and ruffed)
coot and snipe.
Very
popular among father/son-daughter hunters, company hunts, or other groups,
this hunt features lots of action and can be combined with a fall bear, moose,
mule deer, or wolf hunt.
Stay
at our very comfortable lodge, eat sumptuous meals in the midst of skeins
of birds flying overhead. This is an experience you won't forget. Our 30 years
of experience guarantees you a quality outing.
WE GUARANTEE
NO OTHER HUNTERS ON OUR PRIVATELY OWNED WETLANDS AND GRAIN FIELDS.
Wolf
and Fishing
Wolf
hunts and fishing are usually add-ons to our four mainstays; moose, mule deer,
bear, and migratory fowl. With our lodge situated in a northern wilderness
setting, great fishing can be had after a short drive from our lodge. Fill
your tags early and then take advantage of pickerel, pike, perch, or a number
of other species.
